I have been playing with wire for over 30 years! After being told at secondary school I couldn't take metal work as a GCSE option, I was itching to create and design my own pieces.
I am self taught and have progressed through the years from basic jewellery making to designing bespoke wire sculpture creations ranging from animals, business logos and flowers to fairies, mushrooms and dragons.
I work from customer photos where necessary to make a unique piece of art to be treasured forever. I love a challenge so if you have something in mind that you would like recreated into a wire sculpture please get in touch.
I use lots of different coloured coated wire, mostly copper. I like iron wire as it has a lovely rusty look although it is very dirty to work with. Aluminium wire is nice and pliable for small detail.
I combine my wire with other mediums such as resin, beads and wood. All of my bases are custom made by my patient partner.
I am always open to trying to incorporate new mediums into my pieces and look forward to each new challenging commission.
